Love : a funny thing ... but the drawers are good

Lisa and Marina came back from Berlin this morning. I got up really early for some reason, which was good in a way because I caught the post man before he does what he normally does and leaves all my packages in the hole in the fence next door. I got a rose garland and my lovely new little blue crystal - it's magic I can feel it. Then I had a really long shower where I pretended to be under a tropical waterfall... the heat made my eyes go funny and I saw stars.
***
The cold-turkey-no-coffee-for-me thing is driving me slightly up the wall - I have a huge headache.... ouch, but that is not what hurts me the most.
***
Lisa was like a zombie cos of travels and so went to bed and stayed there for most of the day while I did some sewing for Ladys dress (I'm running so late! - but I've almost finished now - it just needs eyelets and by the time that needed to be done it was too late to bang with my hammer for the neighbours : they may have come down with lit torches on the rampage)
***
She says something I don't want to hear.
***
Then to escape my life for a little while me and Marina began our chest of drawers making journey which lasted a lot longer than what it says it should in the manual ... but we had lots of fun 'till the end when we were doing everything so fast we were pretending to be builders : turning those shelf bottoms with the ease of a ... pike? anywho - love the drawers even though they are hugerererer than she expected.
All this housey stuff makes me want one of my own to fill with pretty cushions, lace and magical things, and of course little bits of fluff ;)

The sound of the seashore

I think I woke up six times this morning ... Just didn't want to leave my bed : it was yum and the sun was all lovely. But then I had to get up because I had a meeting with the lady from Covent garden market at 3:00. I got lost which taught me not wear sunglasses indoors - but I was hiding. Found her in the end and I can't wait to get my little stall there - it should be in two weeks ish. I have to set it up all pretty with lights and a backdrop :)
***
On bus I had one of those 'life is wonderful' moments where everything makes you smile like an idiot through the bus window... but then this creepy guy sat next to me and brought me back down to reality - he was mumbling the whole way and I thought he must be an alien. I wished him away and he disappeared. I was looking for the taxidermy shop but I think that vanishes too ... like the flats in my book...
***
I bought too many food stuffs from M&S but it is all green and fresh - I have decided that for my health I should stop eating cheese and sugar before I turn into one of those crazy people off the TV who only eat one thing and cry when confronted by spinach. Then with too many bags I ventured into a wierd little shop that I thought must have been a house too - or maybe it was just a house - eek! the guy was sleeping and I came in to by a shell from the window - he woke up : an ogre ... but sold me it for a pound before he went back inside his den to finish his greasy chicken dish.
***
My room is getting prettier - I got my fairy lights in the post this morning and put them up behind my bed - it's starting to feel like a fairy cave - a little way to go yet stll *

Wine

Maria came over tonight when I had finished sewing for the day ... we ate tuna pasta and talked a lot ... and we found the next ep of the l word which made me happy. Wine makes you drunk and sometimes this is good but other times it makes you sad - I've not just worked this out, I knew it before but anyway ........ I'm listening to new songs today that Stephanie sent to me - they are lovely. I'm talking about my past and about now - its difficult sometimes : to remember. It makes it all real sometimes when maybe you would have rather had deleted stuff. Going to read this tomorrow and laugh at my tipsyness hehe ...
***
Stephanie sent me photos today of our outing at the London Fashion Week and The Natural History Museum. Loves it. Wish we lived closer! :)
***
Stef came home and Maria left and we talked some more - it's easier to talk with wine - wine makes me want to dance *
***
Arranged the delivery of my new bookcase ... can't wait to get it and arrange my stuff ...
***
Listening to Murmurs again - I love it so much, makes me smile.
***
I should really go to bed now ... it's late and I want to dream, but not the scary dream that I had last night - I want a lovely one *wish*

I love stuff

I woke up this morning with the need to spend money I don't really have yet ... so I visited ebay and stayed there all day... I bought an old Hans Christian Anderson book, and old enid blyton book, a pretty piece of celestite, a piece of amber with two mayflies inside that are a million billion million years old (at least) ;) some fairy lights, a rose garland, some silk flowers to hang from my window, and the best bookcase on the planet to put them all on ... fingers crossed for the bunny skull, the book of fairytales and the taxidermy magpies *
***
Today is a happy day and I have so much energy I don't know what to do with it ... it's strange that when you are positive, positive things happen : let's hope it stays like this ... *wishes*
***
The lovely Covent Garden people have said they would love to have me there to sell my pretties on a stall... I'm so excited! it will be nice to interact as opposed to being on line all the time, there will be fresh air there and other outsidenessess.
***
I am waiting for my cheesey pizza (eveything is better when that good old cheese is in the system - my only drug) and then when I have the belly of a pig I'm going to listen to 'Murmers' and continue with the frilly pink dress I'm making for Lady ... it's nearly done! and then I'm going to see if I can find the newest L Word eppisode (I'm 3 from the end!!!!)

Fashion is bad for the feet

My feet hurt so bad it hurts my face ... walking around London Fashion Week with Stephanie broke them, I have a piece of toe missing, but not to worry because we had the best time!!
Today we had a little break between shows and visited the Natural History Museum, because everyone knows how well fashion goes down with a little help from big scary dinosaur bones. We gave all the dead stuff characters and I swear Disney needs us. Then of course we couldn't leave without our crystals! and they are yum ... I will arrange them tomorrow (ready for a lovely happy room filled with yum stuff)
The first show today had big frilly frocks with printed ballerinas on which made us happy and the second was all about wooly knitty things .... I'm no fashion journalist but it all made me smile, so it was good.
The models were also very lovely, some like pixies - but they are not for sale.
***
Babybel is the best invention and I take them in a morning like little round red cheesey medication, but they are also supper back home from Fleet Foxes which was pretty... there was a light missing from their fairy light arch which inspired me to write a poem : I had to delete all my messages though because I didn't have a pen ... the wonders of technology.
As for the gig : it was emotional.
We tried to think of surnames but it's difficult to find a new one that doesn't make you sound like an aspiring porn star ... *thinks*
***
Taxi and home again after a few days of away... I lined up the little free fashion show gifts and my birthday prezzies from the other day, I like new stuff when it is as pretty as this ... I will find them homes and buy more new stuff and make my room look like a cave : a pretty cave.
