Little Trees...

* New frills for Burlesque Dancing Fairies in my shop looking for a wardrobe *
...and here they are photographed beautifully by Paul Larkins...

Eight new dresses inspired by the sea photographed with pretty jewels by The Lysine Contingency on their way soon - I'm thinking mid July.  More projects to follow... there will be giant rabbits, horses, forests, boats, big buttons, small secrets and frills to the floor...
because of all these dreams talking up my fingers I won't be making custom orders for a little while... but not forever.

The other day whilst on a trip I found this little guy and had to bring him home, his name is George and I think I'm going to grow him some friends from seed, maybe have a wall of little trees...

Tales from The Treehouse

I'm not a builder but bridges are what I'm crafting, learning things I never knew from those I hardly know.  Though truth is a stubborn thing that hides under rocks and grows cloudy with age like real lemonade so we can never really find it, even if and when it was in front of us.  But more about the speaker this telling tells, about how their insides feel now; they don't realise this, but I do, so when they are saying I'm only half listening, the other half is thinking and noting all their telling signs... the heart and the floorboards.  One day the way will be finished and the only bridges I will see are real ones I'll be sailing through for a boat is where I'll live, with no time to stop for long as the time will stop for long and that's the way I dream it.  The only dream I dream to dream to stop me from thinking, of all the things I can't do, like help you... I think you will be ok soon, when you get to where you want to be, maybe you will go back in time and stay forever young dancing to all our favourite songs.  Nanas are beautiful.  And Grandads too.

Esther Dee and the Carousel at The Comedy, London, 13th April
... here we finished cocktails, bopped around, caught up, rocked out and jolly well had a good night...

...She didn't realise she had a new friend; that duck followed her everywhere....

Tales From The Treehouse

A bee busy and there's not enough coffee in the world... if you'd have stayed and left work somewhere else we would have probably fallen further through a caterpillar hole where time goes all funny then 3 hours have passed in a slow blink of an eye.  I wanted to be closer to you; inside your chest and your eye, like the movie where they're tiny.
Inside.  Inside and all over...
Who would have ever thought this could have happened.
...It's the rest that's unbelievable now... but I'll get a magic pass and escape, might be wrong but I'm not caring, at least we can sit in the dark together.
The bunny: loved.

Sugar cube castles, out of time because the ticking stopped...

I up-cycled this wedding dress of Danniellas for her to make it princess pretty, then she took me to a pink castle where we ran around frightening butterflies and getting sunstroke... lalalala
...as it turned out all lovely I've decided to go on a search for more poor little wedding dresses trapped in the back of shops, bring them home, cut them up, and make them shiny and new...

There are castles all over : I want to live inside one, at the top, where no-one can find me...

I'll keep searching, but here's where you can find these ones for now:
1. 2. 3. 4. 5. 6. 7. 8.

Tales from the Treehouse

The time tricked me again tock tick with it's mind games dice games... I'm awake, still, apparently.  I wonder if you are dreaming now as I'm supposed to meet you there - I'll be there in a minute I swear; I'm already falling - I've already fell.  I hurt not one of my knees this time and don't think they will scuff on my way up either, if we get up ever, I hope not because I like it down here.  The kettle stares at me and I hear her bubble when she's not boiling, just playing with the clock; temptress caffeine do your worst...
I can still see someone walking when they aren't right in front of my eyes, nonchalant and nice like those thousand mice that sauntered across my bedroom floor late at night dancing quietly though as not to wake me; I wasn't invited to their party because I kept eating all their cheese... they didn't realise I wasn't sleeping.
Take me to the secret place and keep me there... I like Rapunzel.

I went into the past last night, I waited by the door, I looked through the gaps in the fence; I got stuck. Sometimes I get stuck and then realise half an hour later. The birds didn't fly from the grass because I was that still... I don't know what or who I was waiting for but the idea made me cry. I didn't see anything through the gaps and no one came. It took me a while to get to sleep because it was already the next day and I was thinking of all the past times. The birds were talking, but not to me. I think I must have fallen asleep then and I know I dreamed of you, but your not who you think, it's not you and neither am I. It's someone else and so am I.
